DOLPHIN INTERACTIONS

There are two types of Dolphin Interaction experiences which are alternatives to the Swim with Dolphins Activity and open to adults and children over the age of 6 or 8 depending on the type of interaction. Prices for both particpants and spectators include FREE entrance to the Park and access to all the daily presentations

The Dry Dolphin Interaction – With prices starting at EUR 80 participants over the age of 6 can enjoy a close encounter with the Dolphins for approximately 15 minutes. This is a dry interactive programme and participants will be allowed to touch the dolphins and learn about the positive reinforcement technique which stimulates the dolphins both physically and mentally. Guests who intend to book a Swim with Dolphins should NOT book a Dolphin Interactive Programme for the same person/s on the same day, this is mainly because both the Swim with Dolphins and Interactive Programmes are usually done at the same time, furthermore guests who have booked a Swim With Dolphins will also be interacting with the Dolphins.

The Shallow Water Dolphin Interaction – With prices starting at EUR 109 participants over the age of 8 can enjoy a close encounter with the Dolphins for approximately 15 minutes. This Dolphin Interaction takes takes place in a shallow part of the pool, eliminating the need for swimming. This program is perfect for anyone who does not like to be in deep water or cannot swim but still wants to be in the water with a dolphin. Note that participants in this activity must be at least 140cm in height. 7 year olds may be accepted on request if they are accompanied by a parent/guardian who also participates in this activity. 

The Shallow Water Dolphin Interaction Family Pack  – With a special price of EUR 87.50 per person, this package is specifically tailor made for families or groups of a minimum and maximum of 4 persons. Participants as young as 6 years can enjoy a close encounter with the Dolphins for approximately 15 minutes and benefit from a discounted price. This Dolphin Interaction takes place in the lagoon’s shallow part of the water.  Note that participants in this activity must be at least 120cm in height and at least one adult must participate in the activity. 

The Marine Park’s South American Sea Lions are trained by the Park’s trainers using the positive reinforcement technique which allows them to perform in front of audiences without the need of any form of restraint. The Sea Lions are fed a mixture of sprat, herring and capelin.  Guests can enjoy a close encounter with these wonderful Sea Lions during a 15 minute dry interactive and informative Sea Lion programme led by the experienced trainers of the Park, you will have the possibility to stroke and if you are lucky be kissed by one of the fabulous Sea Lions. Participants for the Sea Lions Interactive Programme must be over 6 years of age. Bookings must be done at least 2 full days in advance to your preferred activity date. The price of the Sea Lion interaction also includes FREE entrance to the Park and access to the the daily presentations.

This is your chance to learn more from the experienced trainers of the Park who will introduce you to the characteristics, habitat and food of Parrots as well as their protection due to hunting and deforestation. Guests can enjoy a 15 minute interactive and eductaional programme and participants to this programme will surely enjoy the parrots revealing their colours and sounds besides having the opportunity to touch these beautiful birds. Participants for the Parrot Interactive Programme must be over 6 years of age. Note that the price of the Interactive Parrot Programme also includes FREE entrance to the Park and access to the daily presentations. Bookings for Parrot interactions must be done at least 2 full days in advance to your preferred activity date.

Take this opportunity to participate in the Reptile Interactive Session and interact with a Pyton bivitatus, King snake, Bearded dragon, Tegu, Chamaleo calyptratus and Blue tongue skink. This is a 15 minute interactive and educational programme. Participants for the Reptile Interactive Programme must be over 6 years of age. The price also includes FREE entrance to the Park and access to the daily presentations. Bookings for Reptile interactions must be done at least 2 full days in advance to your preferred activity date.
